You’ll find us on 17 Avenue SE, serving Calgary since 2013 with professional, relaxed dental care – now open 7 days a week, including evenings and weekends. Our experienced team offers general, cosmetic, and emergency dentistry in a clean, welcoming space designed to fit your busy life.

We provide accessible and effective services, from routine exams and cleanings to dentures, veneers, teeth whitening, clear braces, oral cancer screening with VELscope, dental implants, and sleep investigation appliances – plus one-visit crowns with CEREC and advanced 3D imaging (iTero, CBCT). Kids have a fun play area to help them feel at ease, and adults appreciate our spa-like atmosphere.

We directly bill to most insurance providers, accept Alberta Works, IFHP, seniors, and now the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP). We also offer financing and flexible payment plans to help make care affordable for everyone. Multilingual support is available, and parking is free.

Dr. Solmaz Farahvash

Dr. Solmaz Farahvash, prior to starting her career in Dentistry graduated in Computer Software Engineering in Iran and worked as a site manager. Later she moved to Ankara Turkey, where she studied Dentistry, specialized and received a PhD in Periodontology. While studying in University of Gazi ,she researched and published multiple articles.

She moved to Canada and chose Alberta as her new home. She can provide dental services in English, Farsi (Persian), and Turkish.

Her hobbies are movies, especially Turkish Cinema.

Dr. Seama Shalchi

Dr. Shalchi, known as Dr. Seama, was born and raised in Shiraz, Iran. She graduated from Manila University, Centro Escolar University with her degree in dental medicine. She then migrated to Canada, and has been practicing dentistry since 2014.Dr. Shalchi is passionate about dentistry and strives to make her patients happy. Outside of her professional life, she spends time with her two little dogs and painting.

Dr. Shalchi is currently welcoming new patients.

Dr. Oluwaseun Fasoyiro

Dr. Sean began his dental journey in Nigeria, graduating in 2009 and gaining valuable clinical experience before relocating to Canada. He later earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in the United States.

After several years of practicing dentistry in the United States, Dr. Sean returned to Canada, where he now provides compassionate, high-quality dental care. He is committed to making every patient feel comfortable and confident in their oral health journey and he is currently accepting new patients.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Sean enjoys spending quality time with his family, traveling, photography, watching documentaries, and staying active through sports.

Dr. Hosam Salaheldeen

Doctors

Dr. Hosam Salaheldeen graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Medicine and Surgery (Honours) degree. Afterwards, he spent one year as a Restorative dentistry resident at Future University in Egypt. In 2013, Dr. Salaheldeen started as a resident of Oral Medicine and Periodontology in the Faculty of Dentistry, Mansoura University. In 2015, he acquired The Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDSRCs Edin.) of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in the UK. In 2017 he obtained an MSc degree in Oral Medicine and Periodontology.

Dr. Salaheldeen practised General Dentistry for eight years before moving to Canada to pursue his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the College of Dentistry, University of Saskatchewan 2021.

Outside Dentistry, played as a professional Handball player for eight years, enjoys playing soccer and travelling.

Dr. Dionysius David

Doctors

Dr. Dionysius David is a general dentist that graduated from the University of Alberta Dental School in 1998. Since then, he has worked in various locations in the province including remote regions of High Level and Jasper. In 2001, Dr. David returned to Calgary and has been working there ever since.

Volunteer work is an important aspect to Dr David’s life. He has provided dental work in Central America during four different occasions in Guatemala and Nicaragua.

​Outside dentistry he has also proven to be a valuable volunteer by providing his time for associations such as Calgary Between Friends Club, APA Program Talisman, Project Grow, CUPS One World, and the Ride to Conquer Cancer. Most recently he has volunteered for Habitats for Humanity, and the Every Woman Foundation.​
Outside of dentistry, Dr. David enjoys participating in triathlons, marathons, hiking, snowshoeing, skiing and yoga.

Dr. Obas began his dental career in Nigeria, where he earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2007. He became board-certified and practiced for several years as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. Dr. Obas later obtained a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Buffalo before joining Sedona Dental. He takes pride in serving Albertans and is passionate about patient care. Dr. Obas resides in Calgary with his family and enjoys spending time with them. His hobbies include soccer, cycling, and chess.
